Andy grew up in Southeastern Virginia and graduated from Christopher Newport University in May 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in political science. After his undergraduate degree, Andy went straight to law school at Elon University School of Law. Andy graduated from Elon in December 2022.

After passing the bar in 2023, Andy began his legal career as an Associate at Roupas Law Firm, focusing on:
