Jim Coleman
About
Jim grew up in the triad, living in Forsyth County prior to attending Davidson College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in philosophy in 2016. While there, Jim volunteered in a program to improve elementary school literacy and critical thinking. After graduating from Davidson, Jim worked for four years in Washington D.C. as a paralegal assisting in a range of Family Law cases, including numerous Collaborative and other Alternative Dispute Resolution driven matters.
Jim moved back to the triad to attend Elon University School of Law, where he graduated in December 2022, passing the bar in 2023. While in Law School, Jim worked as an intern at the Roupas Law Firm, and has joined our team as an Associate Attorney beginning in September 2023.
Here at Roupas Law, Jim focuses on a number of legal practice areas, including:
- Family law
- Real property disputes
- Estates and certain special proceedings
- And general civil litigation
When not in the office, Jim enjoys spending time with his family cooking, playing sports, and making music.
